radial tires

i am currently running bridgestone exedra tires front and rear on my 2001 st1100. are these radial tires?. i want to try a different set of tires with grip being my #1 priority but with a little bit of mileage, say 7000 miles would be nice. what would you recommend?.....

It"ll tell you on the tires. Why not take a look at the sidewall.

If there is an R in the tire size (e.g., 120/70ZR18) it's a radial.

Exedras are not radials. They are a very good bias belted tire.

Avons seem to be getting the nod for a radial tire that offers good mileage.

The Exedras are bias. My ST1100 came with them too, they are good bias tire for the ST1100.
But you will *really* like the feel of radials.
Chris and I both ran the Avons on our ST1100s and they got great mileage. I still use them and I have a set ready to install on my ST1100 in the garage right now.
