Installed Hyper lights this weekend. Read all the posts on this--great info. Decided to make a bracket out of aluminum stock and bolt it up to existing rear (round red) reflector. Took a different route on wiring from lights. No problems. Here'z some pic's. (remembered how you guy/gals love pics).
Ooooooooo! Nice job Phil! I really like how you routed the wiring.

I've seen people route that wire through there but can I asked how you drilled it?
Maybe it's a straight shot but I would be curious to know. Right now I have the LED reflector set that I may reroute the wires on and that looks like a real covert way to route them.
Thanks for posting the pics.

After I took off the trunk and luggage cover, I looked, had a few cups of coffee and looked again. I used a Dermel to drill the hole from the outside between those two gussets-in pic. I had to drill at an upwards angle as the Dremel size will not allow a straight shot. No problem--as you can see the inside hole is just a little higher on the inside--btw-the rack at that point is double walled. Still everything is nicely tucked away-away from dust and rain.:biker: LOVE those LED's:)

I just completed mine and love them. I tried to come up with a way to not route the wire out the side but I was not smart enough to figure it out. Thanks for making me feel stupid. Good job and thanks for posting your pics.

Robert, I learned from many past oops, to take my time, mull it over, go away and come back later.
