I have been searching for a new Sargeant seat but the difference in prices is drastic ($460 To $617).
Where did you get your Sargeant seat? Links & STuff welcomed!

Myself, I went straight to the horses mouth and bought directly from Sargent. I know I paid a little more but the turnaround time was better back in February. And I didn't have to worry about any shipping problems.

Plus the 30-day return policy Sargent offers is only good when the seat is purchased through them.

Got mine from a seller on eBay and waited eight weeks for shipment. If I had it to do over I'd pay a little more and go direct to Sargent.

Love the seat and it was worth the wait though.

CST for me.

Thought the rotation of the earth had reversed itself. I actually got it on the group buy and w/out incident. My subsequent experiences with CST have NOT been the greatest and they truly have lived (up/down) to their reputation.

I like the seat though. I know I could have spent more on a custom seat, etc. but this was fine and it was a great improvement over the stocker.

I may BE a "pain in the ***", but I no longer HAVE a "pain in the ***"

I bought it on Ebay from Part Monster for $483 and had a problem with shipping which has not been resolved yet. I still think you can buy it from them but require them to ship it UPS 3 day Select with a signature required so you can inspect it before accepting it.

Sargent and its affiliates make a lot of money off this seat. At the price that I gave you, my dealer says he made 10% to 13%.

I got mine through my local Honda dealer. The price was Sargent's list price less 15% for my GWRRA discount. I paid tax but no shipping. Not the cheapest I've found, but close.

I've found this to be the case on a number of accessory items. When I factor in my discount and the fact I don't pay shipping it's usually as good a deal as the internet folks. Plus my local guy makes a few bucks and is happier to see me than he would be if I only came in to ***** about problems. Come to think of it, the bike hasn't had any problems (knock on wood).

Friends, UPS delivered my new Sargeant seat. Looks great and those compartments are nifty. Partsmonster at ebay turned out to be a good and reliable seller. Will post pic's soon. I'm off to Long Beach!

Installed the Sargeant seat and rode for a while. It looks great and feels great as well. Will see how it is for the long hauls. The quality and
practicality are outstanding for sure! Looks like they did their homework!
BTW, part monster has a new website
