I just got back from a little 60 miler to test my new Hippo Hands. The average temperature on the dash display was about 35 degrees. I wore a pair of textile gloves that had previously been cold at 50 degrees and my hands were comfortable. The HH's are kind of awkward, but they cut the wind good. They were difficult to position so I connected them with a piece of velcro. It takes a little experimentation to find the proper width, but once you find it everything is fine. I got them here. Where did you purchase them?

What model are they? Are they from a BMW model? The site doesn't list them well.

Thanks,

but you can usually find knockoffs made for snowmobiles or ATVs more easily.

Coop - I found the additional interfrence with my mirrors to be bothersome - was that part OK for you? Do you run risers?

I run Heli-Risers and with the strap I put across them they covered about 1/4 of my mirrors. Also, today it's in the mid 70's outside and they are a PITA.

Wow, that's interesting ... cutting the wind is where it's at ! ... ;)

I've sometimes worn my rain suit top just to cut the wind a bit ... works :)

They sure don't look like the Hippo hands I used to have. I ran them on my VFR750 back in the 1980's, they were fugly but allowed me year round riding.

The one made in the 80's held their shape and were made of heavy a heavy vynil like material.

I sold them to a motocop and far as I know he still has them.
