Has anyone taken the original grips off and replaced with a larger diameter grip?
Also, I was told in Europe that an option for the ST is a radio, there is a place for speakers on the front, has anyone seen one or know where we can purchase the unit. It is not available in the US from Honda. Go figure.

Thanks

The radio you can get from David Silvers Spares in the UK. I am not sure if it will work here in the US. I replaced my grips with the BMW grip its tapered amd fits my hand well.

I went for the E Grips but they were for 1 in bars. I went to Dixieline and got a copper tube to fix 7/8th water pipe and a 1 in tube. I used Gorilla Glue to bond them all in place. The throttle side is harder because you have to estimate where your normal hand position would be at cruising speed.

They are slightly larger and have the two bulges were your finger bends and palm should be.

I am probably the only STer who went to the trouble to make this happen, yet, at WeSTOC, most everyone liked the feel.

Use Search and find my former posts on the subject.

The Kuryakyn Ergo grips work well and are comfortable. They're larger in diameter than the stock or BMW grips, but work well for riders with larger hands. Easy to install, too.
