.... and powered up the Electric Vest.

Wow.

I have no idea why I waited so long. I'm so glad I have that thing.

Couldn't agree more. I bought a used electric vest off of ebay last year and wired 'er up with a on/off toggle switch. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

WARNING: This year I have a dual heat-troller, full jacket liner, and I just made a set of heated leggings and insoles for my boots. Now... if it'd just get cold!

... your timing is perfect, Gruuvalicious - KLRs don't offer much in the line of cold protection. :D

Hey ... it was 47* this morning .... right before the sun came up and then it was 65* but that's not the point here !

It was 42 at my place when I left for work this morning. IT WILL get COLDER!

Around my area it is not unusual to see temps around the low 30s. In Apple Valley (The Capt's part of SoCal) they can see temps below 20! Just because it's SoCal, don't believe all the talk about being warm all the time! :eek:4:

I have a electric jacket liner and a pair of gloves, but last year I toasted the gloves controller when my alternator burned up. I can still connect the gloves to the liner. I'm looking for the reciept since I have a three year warranty on them!:

I saw 34 on the way to work one day last week. No lectrics here. I'm still waiting for one of you SoCal guys to realize you don't need'em and offer them up free to those of us that ride in the cold.

Obviously you haven't ridden in the SoCal Deserts during winter mornings, have you? :eek:4: If you're going to wait for one of us, I'll be frozen solid, you know like when 7734 freezes over...:crackup
