Ok, have the LED's on the back, Piaa 1100x on the front and now I want to put on heated grips. Question i pose is this... I wired the power to the Piaa's
to the battery and the switch/relay with a mini spade to a switch power circuit in the aux socket that you plug into the quartet harness into. Well, now i want to add heated grips and don't want to keep taking off tupperwear , tap into the main fuse box or worse, piggyback into some wire for headlights or horn. So, I will once again remove the side fairing, etc and today ordered the quartet harness. My questions are these..how many farkels can i power with the harness. I can figure which are switched and not with a meter or just the ignition key. My light relay/switch (Piaa) has only one wire to plug in to the harness for power. How do i power the grip heaters (Symtec) with the switch supplied--don't need the heat troller. Is it also 1 wire and a ground?. The Hiachi connectors seam to come in 2/3/4/-- pin types-one power wire from the light relay???. Which will i need for the light relay/switch and the grip heater power. I'm just learning this stuff and can follow detailed instructions. Do all my question make any sense???
Help please. :bow1:

Paul, so you're saying that i can use a three pin plug for any of the three 3-pin connections. Ok. Do you know if these three are all switched or is there some that are "always " on and some that are hot only when the ignition is on. Also, is the green honda wire always a ground. Do you know on what occassion one would use the 9-pin connector?. Phil
Starting to understand--thanks.

In case you didn't find this I did a complete pinout of the quartet harness. It's in the Article Area.

Gentlemen, finished reading all of your past posts. I understand.:) Will now gather all the stuff, heated grips, harness, extra outlet for power in front etc, and install all the stuff at the same time. Rainy day fun. This is a great site--everyone willing to share articles and ideas! :bow1:
