Well, here is a gang of us from the Los Angeles area who got together for dinner for the ST-Owners anniversary. We ranged from Bakersfield to Long Beach to San Dimas to Thousand Oaks. A pretty wide area. We got together in Valencia at the El Torrito restaurant. A few came with their significant others and Tony's son joined the old folks for dinner.

I probably have some names wrong but here it goes. I had the names when we left the table but some of it is gone now.

From left front to back and right back to front.
Chuck, Ron, Norman, Tony, Frank, Bobby, ? (Bill's wife), Bill, John, Ron, Ronda.

Excellent. Looks like ya'll had a good time.

As far as names, I felt it was easier to resort to the "handles", which seemed to be thrown around interchangeably throughout the day.

:D Had a great time last night meeting some super people and swapping stories and tech info. I think that Bill is right, next year we should plan a weekend ride or at least a RTE on the weekend when everyone will have a better chance to ride.
Thanks again to Joe & Charlie for hosting such a great site with great members!
Norman, great job posting the pics, thanks!!

This was my first outing with other ST owners in the Los Angeles area. Met some really great people at dinner in Valencia. Rode up with "the_suspector", Chuck who I just met that very day via email on this site. What a country!!

Looking forward to having some future rides with these folks and enjoying the "ST FRIENDSHIP"
Keep up the good work and LONG LIVE THE SITE!!

Guys nd gals

I am amazed at the amount of posts I read on this forum as to your meetings and get togethers, I just wished that it were a bit more friendly over here in the UK

I went to a couple of the local Pan Clan meetings here and began to think that what the heck am I doing here! Very clicky and not much networking being done by the members to allocate for people like me, a newby to the group.

As a result, I stopped going and finished my membership with the so called 'Pan Clan' over here. It sounds like you guys anbd gals really have got it together, wish I could be with you, would love to ride in some of that sunshine instead of the drab dismal conditions we have to put up with LOL.

You all take care and stay safe, a friend in the UK.

Mick

thanks mick. hang in there. post rides of your own and make new friends. ya know people who dont come forward are just unable to break out of the security shell they have made for themselves. its easy to hang with people ya know. the hard part is to walk up and say hello. people are the same here. someone just has to break the ice, thats the hard part. ride safe.
