IronButt Usergroup?

Okay, just thinking outloud...

We can have an IronButt usergroup... and, when you join it, I can create a block similar to the 2005/2006 events block but only with long distance type rides... what do you think?

The reason I don't do it for everyone is that not everyone is interested and it might 'busy' up the home page so those people...

I'm all for what is easier and Charlie's right about the upkeep of something like that. Don't create more work and duplicate information that is out there somewhere else unless you can suck it directly from the source.

The usergroup seems reduntant to me since the info is already out there .If someone is interested in endurance riding and the endurance events I doubt that this web group is the only one that they are a member of , so I assume that they already have access to the info.
That is my opinion butt what the hell do I know?

No problem, was just thinking it would be cool for those that are new to LD riding and weren't sure where to look as well as keep those already into it informed. You're right, if someone is serious about it they'll be on the IB site or other rally sites. In fact, the IB site has a list of rallies.
