I've been lusting after something since I threw a leg over one 2 years ago. Well tonight I got LUCKY!

With a little more luck this will be in my possession within a few days:

All I have to do is arrange where and when with the owner and it will be mine. The color is off in the photos as the owner took them with a phone camera. The actual color is Race Red and Black.

Congrats, but you keep buying bikes and you'll need a bigger garage! :crackup

Why do I need a bigger garage, none of my bikes fit in the one I have. :)

Wow! Headed for the Rock STore soon?

Good for you Byron...
It's going have to wait just a little bit. First I actually have to get it in my hot little hands. Then I'm going to take some time to get to know it better. :)

So what type of oil will you use and how is the heat?
I'm going to use the type that lubricates parts so it lasts a long time. As long as winter is here it can make all the heat it likes. We'll have to discuss it further when summer gets here. :)

Here... fixed it for ya. :)
I appreciate that. I tried last night but the basic editting software I have was just messing up the pictures.

LOL.. shouldn't it be hi-viz?
Joe, thanks for moving the thread. I was too excited last night to think straight. Being the type of bike it is, I wasn't hot on the red as I might want to fly under the radar with this one. :)

Thanks Everyone.

Here are some of the spec's:

2009 Buell 1125R with ONLY 29 miles on it.

The lowers were put on by the original owner and are a Buell option part.

This is the first vehicle I've bought off ebay. Click on link for details.

I think this will be the last bike I will be purchasing for a while as it fills out a gap in the Stable.

1981 Yamaha XJ 650 LH Midnight Maxim (Black/Gold cruiser)

2006 Honda ST 1300 (Black sport tour)

2008 Kawasaki KLR 650 (Red/Silver dual sport)

2009 Buell 1125R (Racing Red/Black sport)

Well I just got off the phone with the seller so it looks like Saturday night we'll make the exchange. This is going to be one hell of a long week.

Test rode one of those at OCHD. Scared the Sh*t outa me. 82mph in 1st and still climbing fast-2nd gear front up, 3rd gear front up again-*****! Regained some common sense, backed off and took it back. Loved it, but that'd be a death wish for me. Be careful, ride safe, but enjoy that puppy!
