Went to the Long Beach show today. I didn't find anyone manning the Autocom display, but did come across a clue to their next generation intercom in the form of an ad in the freebie MadMaps SoCal Rides Map.

The Autocom Super Pro Avi picture shows 3 cables coming out, 4 connectors (labeled phone socket, flexi socket 1, flexi socket 2 and music socket) and 4 controls (VOX, music fader, passenger volume and rider volume). They mention bike-to-bike, stereo music, cellular phone, radar detector, gps, and rider-to-passenger intercom. No mention of Bluetooth wireless headsets.

No more details available - and the Autocom web sites do not list this yet.

Hi Jim,

I asked the same question at the International bike show over here in the UK last month.
The new kit has the ability to use mutiple mobile phones and control volumes individually as you say. On the subject of bluetooth or cordless headsets, they told me that they had worked on it but could not move forward because of problems with battery life. Which makes sense when you recon you can be out on the bike 8 or 10 hours in a day then the same the day after and so on.
