Has anyone tried this unit. It's a Navman iCN 510. And don't tell me that it's not waterproof. I know that already. What I'm looking for is any experience on ease of use and such. It seems to have all the features I'm looking for and at a nice price at Newegg. I'm looking for a color screen, external headphone jack, Voice guidance, and cheap price. This seems to fit the bill and all the reviews on the Newegg seem happy with it. I'm not planning on using it in the rain anyway and if it starts raining while riding, I'll put it in the top-box or rig up another ziplock bag like I use with the XM.

Brian is it a harddrive unit or does it use compact flash memory?

Compact Flash....no internal memory at all. Even the basemap goes on removable memory.

It looks nice I have the 2610 but that price sounds good. Have you looked at the Tomtoms?

Yeah but they are more money. I've looked at the Garmin i2 and i3 also, but they have no external headphone jack to wire into the autocom.

Ah yes the Autocom I have been looking at them also man they are expensive. I found the Autocom for $149 but by the time I get the speakers and cables etc it came to $389. I am sure you can get or make some type of waterproof cover for the GPS I have heard of others dooing that.

I'm using the Quest 2. The MC adapter has an audio out jack. Its also water proof. See more info posted here http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showpost.php?p=59205&postcount=41
Pluses for this unit is its size, portability, battery life and it has all the maps preinstalled.
Its more than the Navman but less than the 2610.
I could meet you to show you the set up some day. I have a few things to do today around the house then I'm taking a much needed ride.
Its been 23 days since my last ride. :biker:

Yeah that one is very nice, but it's more money than I wanted to spend. I'll meet up with you someday and check it out though.
