My MyFi has developed a loose mini connection. I have tried ear buds straight to it to see if it just my Autocom cord... nope :( Short of sending it back under warranty and being without tunes, is there a quick fix to tighten it up?
TIA,
Robert ;)

Now there's something I hadn't thought of. Before I install my Roady2 I wanted to reinforce the connectors. So I was going to take it apart and then put some goo into there. JBWeld sounds like the ticket.
Anyone found instructions on disassembling the Roady2?

I can move the connector around and get a good signal until I hit a bump... then garbage. I think I'll have to take it apart like Curt said... crimp the connector a little for a firmer connection. Was hoping there was an easier way :D It seems like the female mini plug loosend up after so many times of removing the Autocom connection... :(

I had the same antenna connection problem on the roady2 that RC is talking about. I pushed outward the little tabs on the antenna cable that connects into the roady and I have not had a single loose/antenna single in 2 months since I did this.
Lets keep our fingers crossed but so far so good..

Ok disassembly not that though. Get a T6x40 Torx and then pull off the back. Pull off the front and the toggle knob cover. Then remove the plate covering the jacks. Done.
I think JB Weld might be conductive since it says Steel Epoxy so I decided to use E6000 glue which is what John Brown uses on the Mix-It for securing connectors. Works great as a gasket too.
