And the old favorite "Throttle Rocker".
With the new design TR I think the BuSTer will be the ticket, altho' I have a new one and it's been OK.

Throttle Rocker had to change their grip attachment design due to conflicts with a cramp buster patent. So I have read.

Do you have the BuSTer or the Throttle Rocker?

I had the "new" throttle rocker. It kept slipping out of place. I have a throttlemeister now, but a cramp buster would be nice too.

Sorry dond, but I guess I am not smart enough to figure out what you are saying. Or maybe you are crying for help and this is your way of signaling. Send your phone number and I will call to see if you are okay. ;)

We need at leaST 10 characters to poST. 'TR' (as in throttle rocker) was not enough, so I juST added more. A common practice on boards like this.

I have a Throttle Meister and a Throttle Rocker which is curved and molded to fit the heel of the hand nicely. It attaches differently than the Cramp Buster. It has a strap with an adjustable strap (somewhat like a helmet chin strap) so it will fit multiple sizes of grips from OEM to much larger.

Of the two items, I use the Throttle Rocker constantly and the Throttle Meister only on rare occasions when I need to take my right hand off the power handle.

I have a crampbuster and I got it due to some tingling in a couple of fingers in my right hand after riding for a short distance. The tingling instantly went away. As an added bonus I noticed that I seemed to have better throttle control with the crampbuster added. Not as noticable instant on off response that I had before. It fits great, does not slip and is well worth the approximately $10 tax included I paid for it.

I've used a Crampbuster on my last three bikes. Great item.

I'm pretty sure I have the wide version. I love it much more than my last throttle rockers. If you're looking for something really thin, check out the one Kuryakyn makes. Completely rubber and flexible. I used one on my Concours and my Vulcan and it was great too.

Hope this helps.

I tried TR and it kept slipping so I got a crampbuster off ebay, it was the best $10.00 I have spent on bike. Also I cut it back about 3/4 of an inch as it was to long and would get caught in the sleeve of my riding jacket so lenght is adjustable to your personel choice.

Mine's the regular one. I have sorta small hands so it's plenty wide for me. I'm planning on adding a VistaCruise to the ST also. That and the CrampBuster make a nice combo. Used them on my Aprilia Caponord and my Kaw 1600 Classic before the ST1300.

:04biker: I had a Throttle Rocker with the velcro attach and did not like it. Every couple of hours you have to re-adjust, and when in traffic and you want it out of the way, you can't move it. Bought a Crampbuster (wide) and like it a lot. Doesn't slip, yet you can spin out of the way when you want. I recommend this one.....

For those with consistant numbness/tingling, you may look into qwinerveprotector.com (http://www.qwinerveprotector.com/MotorcycleGlove.html) for relief.

Hey thanks for the link AZST.....
Hello All.......
I just ordered the crampbuster and the buttpad (don't you love the way those Alaska people talk?). I have a Throttlerocker from the honda shop that-well-I am not sure what 'drive line lash' is exactly, but if it is a motorcycle that gets 'goosed' in the ribs, then I have it worse with the T_rocker. I have a goosy bike in the ST (the red one still a bit wild) and even though I really like the comfort the T_rocker gives me, if my right wrist gets lazy when in a series of bumps, I could really go to "goose city", maybe 10 or 12 gooses before I could get it smooth again. I do believe it is pilot error, but you see, your elbow and wrist coming down after a bump can move your throttle hand without you being aware of it, also the T_rocker is unable to be moved out of the way while riding and so I got the crampbuster, which you can move while in flight.......we will see....

I am a recent owner of a cramp buster and I noticed the 'goosey' results of bumps. I'm not nearly as smooth as with just the grip. Anybody know of a technique to alleviate the 'goosey'... :)

coincidentally, I just used a crampbuster wide on a friends vfr yesterday.

Rode it almost 200 miles and although this was the first time I've used one, pretty easy to get use to and certainly functional. Not sure if the wide or normal would be best though.

I would definately recommend one for inexpensive long ride relief.

Apparently I had it adjusted incorrectly... I made a small change and no more 'goosey'... WooHoo!!! :D

Which size...standard or oversize for the BMW grips? I'm thinking standard...
