Just got for XMAS a new Pioneer AirWare XM Radio. I have no problems with the antenna and power, just wondering how anyone else might have mounted this. RAM mounts? I already have a Touratech and 2610 mounted on my Helibars.

Thanks in advance.

Can you provide a link to the radio that you have? Not that I coldn't Google it but to make sure we have the right one.

By the way, have you gotten out much this winter? Just had mine out yesterday for a few hours. Thinking about riding it up next week if the weather is mild to my office in Milwaukee.

Hey Jeff,

Sorry I must have missed your post. I have not been riding because the bike is half tore apart and I have a lot of little things to do and a few major things to do over winter to it.

The radio looks pretty good although they only give one view of it. Do you have the measurements on it? I have to register to look at the manual. Grrrr.

The plugs for power, etc. and operating the volume knob with gloves on may be an issue along with keeping it dry but there's the generic clamp rammount that might work if it is wide enough to fit the radio. Of course I can't find a link to that one but something that might work even better because it blocks very little of the sides so it doesn't interfere with plugs, knobs, etc. is a generic PDA mount:

Of course you'll need dimensions I guess to see if it will work. I can't really tell the dimensions from the picture but with the earphones there it looks like a PDA type mount might work and then you can just slap a baggie over it to protect it.

I'm actually about a mile off of I-94 at Rawson Ave which is two exits south of the airport exit.
