Hey Guys and ? als, I'm toying with the idea of getting a used ST1300 and having it painted white just like the police model but without all the extra gear that comes with the police model. I really dig the white with all the black trim. I don't like the white on the GL1800 since it doesn't have the black trim very much to offset the white. If I removed all the tupperwear, I think I could get an automotive place to just do a basic white paintjob for a reasonable amount (maybe $600-700 maybe).

I was wondering if anyone has done this. I don't think there would ber comments. Another thought was to get an 06 black and use some silver or even white graphics to make it be very different than stock (if very tastefully done). I think the black color blends in too much with the other trim, but that is just my .02.

JDP,
if I ever get my 05 painted, I would probably go with white or the silver honda used on the 03 vfr (quite bright and stands out pretty well).
I notice colors alot more when driving down the road now. Both white and yellow stand out the most. I really think white would be an excellent choice, and it sure can't hurt to be mistaken for a cop at times! Hank

I too think this would make for a great ST ride! While Red is still my preferred color for bikes, I find myself attracted to this color combination. This black/white color scheme seems especially attractive for the ST style bikes.

An 06 with a nicley added white {or gray} would stand out from the crowd.

I think you would find that slower moving traffic, usally found in the fast lane, would definitley move to the right!

Good luck with your decision.

Either that, or they'd all slow down to the speed limit -5 because they think they're in the presence of a LEO. :D
