Hey all. I hope this is the right forum to post this ...
A group of riders I know from other boards are planning a ride for the southwest portion of Colorado in the May/June time frame ... exact date not yet known and the weather will dictate things. Almost everyone doing the ride has one or more mountain passes to crest, so we're trying to avoid snow.
The game plan is to ride to Durango on a Friday, Ride SW Colorado on Sat and Sunday, and return home on Monday. Most of the group is coming from UT and CO but we have interest from AZ as well. The group of riders is diverse ... Me and my ST, several cruisers (metric and HD's), one or two sport bikes (NOT squids), one V-Strom ...
At any rate, I wanted to send an invitation to anyone on here who might be interested in joining us. That part of Colorado is very beautiful and we should have plenty of scenic miles to put under the wheels. As mentioned, the game plan at this time is a 4 day trip over a weekend but some riders are taking more time off to alter their route to/from Durango for more riding. Some folks like me don't get a ton of days off so ...
