Anyone have any dealings with them? I want to buy from a dealer with a great service department/customer relations reputation. I live about 175 miles from them and there are closer, less expensive buys but there "Service" su*ks. Your thoughts PLEASE.:sparkplu:

I've been there a couple of times. They seem pretty decent. Never bought anything from them though.

FYI all,
I bought a 06 ST1300a from Ted, his price was 12,599 for ABS, 11,599 for non abs.
He let me test ride one with 0.0 miles on it when I turned the key...
I reccommend them, nice guys, rock bottom price, test rides allowed.
Sumter SC, 40 miles from Florence.

By the way..the Florence Honda dealer replied this way when I went in to purchase a ST1300. "we don't have any, we don't think there are any in North America. We will check on whether or not we can get one and what it would cost you and give you a call." No call ever received. The don't want to sell bikes I guess. I'll be riding down to see Honda of Sumter when it's time to buy my wife's VTX.:D

Just an update to the thread. Went down to Honda of Sumter yesterday, and bought a 2007 ST1300A for $13,495 out the door. Saved at least $1250 over any local dealer here in North Carolina.

One thing to note - they are very busy (they sold three Wings alone while I was there!), so it can take a while to get in and out. Of course, I did test ride the ST and a Wing before buying, so that may have been part of the delay...

When I was in the market for my ST1300 in August 2006, I wanted to buy a new 2005 model to match my brother's bike. Honda of Sumter was happy to order me a new 2005 model out of the Honda warehouse for $11,900 out the door, 0.9 miles on the clock, full 3-year warranty.

I wanted to have an accessory socket installed in the right pocket for cell charger and/or Passport 8500, and they would have installed it for no labor charge at delivery. However, they did not have the required quartet harness, so they gave me a raincheck for installation at the breakin service a month later.

They do a huge business in GoldWing trike conversions, if that's your interest.

The shop is pretty small, but the mechanic rides an old silver ST1300 to work.
