OK, I have ordered the 2730 unit, and now need to mount it. The last unit I had, StreetPilot III, was mounted in the left mirror hole and I wasn't real fond of that location. So now think I would like this one mounted centered between the bars on the risor plate.
It would be quite simple to use a Ram ball mount but wanted to see what other options you guys are using?

Your advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you don't have a dash then the riser mount might be your best option. You could mount it on the handlebar with the mount that goes in the lever mount.

I have mine on the dash so I don't have a pic of it but it's a pretty common mount.

I use the same as Digitalmartin only with one RAM arm.

I made the part that attaches to the handlebars myself so I could have it a bit higher than the RAM mount. After that, I didn't need teh second arm to get it closer to me.

I have since made another one and powdercoated it black.
