Hey guy,
Im the new kid on the block. I started out with a KLR650 18 months ago and have loged a little over 22,000 miles.

Once the blood flow returned to by bottom and legs, I figured it was time to step up to something a little more road worthy.

With much guidence from friends that also ride (read as - throwing of bricks and electric catle probs) I purchased a new-to-me 2004 ST1300.

Its about 2 weeks old now and Ive managed about 120 miles.

Shawn,

Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of great folks (and resources) on this site). I too have the finest colored vintage...an 04. Not to mention the fastest ;)

I have had the bike since Sept 05 and only have 700+ miles on it for too many bad reasons. I did ride it all of last week and I could not believe how nice this bike is. It gets better every day I ride, even though from day one I knew it to be one of the finest rides on the road.

Be safe and have fun.

Bill

Shawn,

Can you spell F-A-R-C-K-E-L?????

How about S-E-L-L??? As in KLR650-to me. C-H-E-A-P!!!:D
I always wanted a short-cut-through-the-woods-to-work bike.

Keith,

Check out this KLR650 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4613159244) on ebay. It's a real bargain....
