I bought a HID setup from a group buy on another forum. It is a 4300K Lo-beam only kit.

Wiring diagram courtesy of John O'. As indicated by the red text and "X" I plan to wire the HID's up so that the RH bulb is Lo-beam only and is ON when light switch is either on Lo OR Hi beam. I will do this by making a jumper lead that connects to the factory headlight plug but has the Blue (Hi) and White/Black (Lo) wires wired together before plugging into the HID connector. This should send power to the bulb no matter what the light switch is set on. The Green wire is ground. For the LH bulb which will be Hi-beam only I will only connect to the Blue (Hi) and Green (ground) wires. This will result in the LH bulb only being ON when the light switch is on Hi (along with the RH bulb).

Here's the clutch - by connecting the Hi (blue) & Lo (white/black) beam wires together for the RH bulb, will I be backfeeding power onto the blue wire and up into the Hi beam relay when the light switch is on Lo and conversely backfeeding power onto the white/black wire and up into the Lo beam relay when the light switch is on Hi? If so, will
this damage anything?

I couldn't resist pluging up the RH Lo-beam bulb to see what it looked like. Yep, it is BRIGHT.

Hmm, seems the above method would be backfeeding the Lo and Hi circuits. I put together a crude wiring diagram using 2 additional relays after the RH OEM headlight plug. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Little confusing but let me give it a shot...

You want the RH bulb on always, low and high, correct?

The LH bulb on only when on high beam, correct?

If that is the case then wire the RH bulb to any switched 12v source, it will be on as long as the switch is on.
Wire the LH relay to the high beam wire so it will come on when you hit your high beams.

Keep it simple.
