I read this report from his post on the LDList.

I felt like I was right there with him. A good read.

Man, you aren't going to believe this but we were in Daytona for bike week walking around the Yamaha tent, we saw this guy walking around in a NASA Flight suit. It was hot and we were making light of all the folks who were wearing their leathers, or wearing riding suits in such hot weather, calling them posers. We actually looked at this guys and just shook our heads.

Then I started reading the link above and saw the photo of John Ryan in his NASA flight suit and just about fell out! We were actually standing beside John Ryan at the Yamaha tent! This guy could ride me into the ground on his worst day and here I am making fun of him and his riding suit...

Just goes to show, never judge a book by its cover...

No, I never make fun of anyone wearing gear while riding, but we were already in the vendor area. Most everyone had stored their riding gear on their bikes. It was hot enough to not have them on while roaming through the vendors.
