Seems we can't use Canadian PayPal or CC's though. As they say.....cheques in the mail. ;)

OK, STeve, (and all our other Canadian Friends),
You CAN make your payments in Canadian funds through Paypal, but to do so you must first set up a paypal account. It's not difficult, but if you do it, you can then pay in several currencies, including CDN $$$.
To send your payment via Paypal in alternate funds, set up your own account and then send the payments to:
whitbaby@comcast.net
Make sure to make your payment payable in US funds, the paypal system will do the currency conversion for you and charge your credit card appropriately.
Here's a link to paypal's demo of the process: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/dmo/demo_mc_1-outside
I'll change the website with appropriate instructions.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, STeve!

The problem appears to be Whit's account. This is the text of the error I get:
Non-U.S PayPal Account
Unfortunately, this recipient does not accept payments from non-U.S. PayPal accounts. Please return to the recipient's web site to complete your payment using their regular checkout process.
Over to you Don.

OK, I'll call Whit. I think he needs to upgrade his account.
Thanks, Steve.

OK, STeve,
In case you didn't get my PM, I had Whit change his account to accept non-us payments.
Can you try it again and let me know?
Thanks...

Oh and a heads up... I booked a day early, 9/3. They wouldn't honor the $75 for that night... however they did offer a "Holiday" rate of $79 for the night.
FYI,

Hmmm, when I talked to Whit, he indicated that they would honor the $75 rate. Try sending him a note (his email addy is on the WeSTOC site) and see what he can find out.

I figured that, based on your initial poST. I simply felt that Whit needed to know since he set up the contract with the Marriott.
I'll let him know if you prefer not to contact him. No problem.

I'm not sure what my schedule is and since I'll be with a couple friends on BMWs hitting California then Colorado first... I'm not sure I'll make the banquet as I'll leave early to make it to NatSTOC, since I set it up.. LOL...
Should I still register? Or is that just for people attending the banquet?
C'mon Joe,
I'll even save two parking places for your wing....

Has anybody been able to open the first map in the zipfile for the rides in GPSu? If you can, Can you convert it to GPX for me?

If they are using the registrations to predict how much food will be needed, I don't want to cause any waste... :D
You talking about the "Peak to Peak" ride?? If you can convert from
S&T, use Streets and Trips to plot it, then convert it??
Putt..

I didn't want to do any work. :D I can't get it to open.

The banquet is a separate 40.00 Joe. There is a 10.00 donation to offset general cost. I would think they would just count the banquet money for a head count.
I will plot it out for ya in streets and trips... Strange, not
having any problems opening it here... It is a PDF file...
I'll send it via e-mail..
