It's 1023 miles from my house to Golden via Palmdale - or 1035 going out the 210 to the 15. Yeah it occurred to me. ;)

But between wanting to stop in Grand Junction & visit relatives, and all those nice places to visit in between here and there, and having to drone down the interstate that far, I don't think I'll try it this time.

If I go to WeSTOC this year I will probably do it as a two week trip and tour additional areas in the extra time. Maybe just hang out at WeSTOC and do my rides before/after. What remains to be seen is if I put WeSTOC at the front or rear of the two weeks.

I am planning on going to CanSTOC, and on doing this as a blitz on the way up (Vancouver) and back (Calgary). CanSTOC this year is a traveling trip through the Canadian rockies. By blitz I was thinking of superslab but a couple of days. Tim Graham has offered to give me more interesting routes up/down since he does so much of that.

CanSTOC blitz anyone
