I'm back from the Lee Park's Total Control Class. Had a great time and learned a lot. Lee is quite brilliant and a great guy. We were taught basics STuff like turning, leaning, etc.. However, we practiced turning and we leaned our bikes while stopped to learn technique.

There were 3 ST's. Steve who is pictured w/ the red ST and another guy from San Francisco who rode down for the class(See leaning pic). Lee is standing w/ the faST silver one..(Mine!)

The most I got out of the class is to ride more relaxed. The bike will do moST of the work w/ the proper inputs. I cant believe I have been riding so tense.

2 bikes were dropped while doing close turns(No St's). No injuries, just a smashed tank and broken egos.

I finally learned all you ever wanted to know about suspensions & damping. Its amazing thet a few milimiters in adjustment can make such a difference.

Also, always look where you are going and you will get there. Use delayed apex when possible. Be in a good mental state. Lots of STuff!.

Not really, it was a huge parking lot. As to me catching up w/ you, I doubt it. Lee did not teach me that Uncle D...

Looks great Louie! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I've just finshed re-reading 'Total Control: High Performance Street Riding Techniques (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0760314039/sr=8-1/qid=1141584657/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-8672848-9895367?%5Fencoding=UTF8)' and really enjoy his writing style and content. I'd love to take this class some day.

What was the rest of the curriculum?

Ken, its basically the textbook in practice. I read the book before and I think I got more out of the class. However, now we are supposeed to practice what we learned so it becomes a habit!.

Did you 'study' completely in the car park or did you go out on the roads for some 'real world' experience? I'm not suggesting one is better than the other, just curious.
