RevIt makes some nice gloves. I've got one of the waterproof flavors (I believe it's the H20) and I've really been pleased with it. I got mine from a BMW store. A little pricey, but worth it. Size tends to run a bit smaller than other gloves I've had.

Juice...I have a pair of TM winter elites in large that I've never worn. They are probably 5 y/o so they are not the neweST model but other than trying them on and realizing they are a bit too thick for me, they are virgin. They're yours if you want them...Maybe brekky at Mikes

They've even got the little squeege thing for your faceshild....or whatever 8-)

There used to be a cycle shop on Lyons just East of the 5 Fwy, you might what to see what they have if it's still there.

I've fallen in love with the Held brand. Mine are summer weight ('Steve' model) but I know they make insulated models as well. A bit pricey, but worth it in protection.

I'm guessing you're refering to the tour master elite "winter" version. Since I'm a big fan of alpinestars I'd suggest the SP-S street gloves.

They dont have the gauntlet, but they are "doubled", which makes them thick, and the holes that appear to be perforated on the inside of the fingers (see at new enough), are only through the first layer not the second.

That said, I wouldn't buy another mfgs glove without trying it on, it's so hard to get the right size. I own some of these SP-S and I'd say they're good to about 35 to 40 degree ambient temp.

I got my Tourmaster Elite's at Cal Coast (multi-cycle dealer) in Ventura....I wore them in the very heavy rain in Nov.. when we rode out to Willow Springs...They have nylon covers that pull out, as you know...Worked OK......Seeped a little onto the leather through seams in nylon but no real problem...Warm, pre-curved and not too bulky.......(805) 649-0900 and open 7 days as week so they'll be open tomorrow too.....

Good luck.......

Hey Juice,

It sounds like you're all fixed up (attaboy Don) but do yourself a favor and try on a set of Helds. I've got both the "Steve" model that Racer1735 mentioned and the "Hawk" model for colder temps. It's Gor-Tex lined as well as insulated and while very warm isn't bulky or stiff at all. Most BMW bike dealers I've been to stock them. These gloves saved my hands during a high speed getoff last spring on my old Goldwing. As soft and comfy as they are, they're tough as nails. The details..........

Variable Weather Touring Glove
Gore-Tex Waterproof and Breathable Membrane
Outlast Phase Change Material (PCM) Insulation
Pittards WR100 Waterproof Palm
Schoeller WB-Formula Stretch Fabric Back for Maximum Flexibility
Shock-resistant SUPROTECT Padding
Rubber Wiper on Left Index Finger

I got my second set here: http://www.helmetsunblocker.com
