I last moved this tag on 12/31/2011 in rain and 39 degrees, looks like the weather is good enough for me to ride again. In Ohio it is 45 degrees and raining. I'm hoping Saturday or Sunday I can get a ride in now that the weather has gotten worse. If you SW guys want it back you better move on it, other wise I'm going to move it close to Lake Erie, real close (LOL).....

Looks like a cool tag! Didn't know there was a Custer Memorial in Ohio!
With the weather we had today, it may have to sit a while!
But I did order my new Darkside rear tire, so I should be good to go till the snow freezes! If you take it to the lake, I'll may have to get it and take it to the river....

It was a little cooler out today then my brother and I thought. But we had decieded to go move the Tag anyway.
We moved it to northeast Ohio. Just alittle note the General store is closed on sundays. We did have a good time on the roads Ron.

We don't mind riding when it's cold, just not when it's wet and cold. Only saw 1 other bike, crotch rocket.

Well I didn't have quite enough time to go to post moonshine this weekend but I did have time to move the tag. Another good road to get to this one. I was unable to get the bike as close as I would have liked; that is the Big Muskie Bucket way in the background.

It took me this long to post my disappointment in finding that Tony had moved the tag exactly ONE DAY before I signed in to post that I'd moved the tag. 
During a long SE OH ride with a bunch of my friends, I split off after lunch with the intent of getting the tag moved, thus missing the rest of a really great twisty road tour. Many miles of straight boring road to get to the buggy, then a bunch of freeway riding just before dark to set the new spot.
I log on that evening to see Tony's post.........DOH!
Thanks, Tony, for giving me new incentive to move it again this spring!

After breakfast at Uncle Phil's Mansfield RTE, Annette and I took a little jaunt to move the OH-TAG. Couldn't have asked for a better day! Took her down the north part of 555 (which we've never ridden) Made it to the "Big Muskie Bucket" and snapped a few shots, then another run S/W toward home.
Thought we would stop for some dinner and decided "What better place to move the tag to than a BBQ joint?"
So, the tag is now located at:
7 Miles Smokehouse
Corner of Bridge Street and 7th Street
Chillicothe, OH
BTW, I grew up in the gray house (centered) in the picture across the parking lot. Long ago, the restaurant was a "Frisch's", which I started working at when I was 15.
Give us a ring (see the RAN list or PM me) if you plan on getting the tag! We live only 10 minutes away. If we can get there, it will be our treat!

I do enjoy running US 78 from I 77 to Nelsonville!!! Makes me kinda miss Ohio a little!!! Nice move Pat and Annette!

Well I'm a newbie at this but I had the day off work so I decided to move the tag Pat and Annette had in place. Here it is:
I put in a little over 288 miles today on a beautiful day, Out of Chillicothe I took US route 50 down to state route 41, that was a real treat. The first 2-3 miles on 41 were construction but after that what a nice road, had it all to myself for the most part.

That didn't take long !
It was 11pm when I got to the Caverns and the T-storms were closing in.
They have a chain across the gates right at the road, so I was unable to get the exact spot.
I picked this TAG up the next morning when the skies were much friendlier

Good move Terry! You beat me to it. I was out yesterday working on my wet riding skills. Looks like the TAG was washed away before I got there at 6:30 PM. Dang, guess I'll have to plan another day on the bike.
Sorry about that, Ohio was the most recent TAG of the 3. I was worried someone else would get it the same wknd.
