I'm sure someone has posted this....Nonetheless here is another one

Yesterday I took a ride to the Barbers Motorsports Museum. Absolutely incredible. Even if you didn't like Vintage Motorcycles or Racecars, you would love this place. 4 floors of 100's if not 1000's of mint condition. They also had a basement that is off limits unless your in a tour. Fortunately for me I met a member that showed me around and got me in the basement. Awesome is the only word can describe it.

I'll post a few pics with some background.....be patient.

1. The Iconic chopper from Easy Rider.
2. Dan Gurney's Alligator
3. Birmingham Police Cruiser
4. A tribe of Indian's
5. Solar Car Built at Auburn University

When I looked back at the pics I had taken, Indian was by far my favorite.
Gurney's Alligator would be the answer to some who are little shorter in the inseam.

For the my Iron Butt brothers.
2. Gary Eagan's Ducati ST4 he rode from San Fran to New York in less than 37 hours.
1 & 3. My favorite was the bikes used by Demopolis, Al. rider Jim Rogers and his girl friend to ride around the world. Super interesting story.

Nice! My company HQ is in BHam. I'm supposed to fly down in a few months to put faces to voices, and was told to make a trip there by our Change Control Build Manager. She made sure to point that out to me! I guess my Audi logo instead of photo made an impression on her.

No velvet ropes and stanchions. Just behave yourself.

The powder blue streamliner scoot behind the Harley was my favorite when I was there. Or maybe the Morbidelli. And some day I will have a GTS1000....
