Mr.Morley, sir. Now there's a coincidence. If such things exist.
Only yesterday that picture was posted on the Bikes and Travels forum here in Old Blighty. Albeit in more typical Irish weather for Co.Wicklow. The poster explained the upper and lower lakes.
It was part of a more general discussion into why would you travel from mainland UK to Ireland for a bike ride. All the usual points were covered. The ferry, the cost, the weather, the troubles etc. and then the beauty, the isolation the Guinness etc.
Thanks for posting.
Upt'North.
Ahh yes, the Guinness!

I can really recommend the hike around the lakes at Glendalough and then up to the top and back. We were lucky to catch it on a good day after being thoroughly drenched the previous day hiking into Glendalough from Powerscourt on the Wicklow way. They don't call Ireland the Green Island for no reason!

Seeing lots of broken links to photos that I would love to view?
I'm seeing them all via Chrome on both my phone (via cellular and wifi) and my work computer.
