Took the '11 out for a ride this afternoon. First day this year where it's been in the 60s, so I had to take advantage of that! Unfortunately, my route involved going over Lolo pass (western Montana), and wow, she was downright chilly up there! The nLoloPass.jpgice warm sun was replaced by clouds and serious winds (from every direction). And of course I was just wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and my "summer" mesh jacket. Duh! About froze my keester off. Grateful for the fairly good wind protection and what little heat the engine was putting out. Once I came off the pass it warmed right back up again. Lesson learned... but I'm sure it will happen again next year. :) Here's a pic at the visitor's center at the top of the pass (around 5,200 ft).
