Just had to get away for a few days….swambo agreed, she really had pushed me too far this summer.
Anyway, just thought I would share a few pics from my trip.
To me riding is therapy, I even passed quite few riders on «adventure»bikes, hehe. The ST is extremely capable if you let it.

Rented a small cabin in Flatedal $50, clean and quiet. First night in years I’ve slept for ten hours straight…No I did not pee in my bed…

Have you ever made skidmarks like these with you ST?

The mighty ST among his mountain counterparts. The mountains don’t have ledlights…

At sea level again on my way to Finnøy to my daughters cabin/vacation home.

Nice photos.
While in the Navy, our sub docked there once at Trondheim.
A handful of us took a horseback camping trip into the mountains; not sure where they took us but it was amazing.
Would like to revisit some day. That's on me, I suppose...

It is been on my 'ride radar' for a long time.
Are there bike rental places in your area?
Check out previous post.
Sorry to say, but there are none where I live.
Closest would be the guy in Stavanger, but you will get to desolate areas/mountains within 2-3 hours wherever you choose to rent.

Color me VERY jealous! Very nice pics. I’d love to leave work for a couple of months, buy that GL1800 and trailer that’s in the classified section for $4K, and hit the road for an all around America tour (or just load up one of the STs).

My mother was born in Rjukan, Norway and came to the U.S. as a teenager. I've only been to Norway once on a two week vacation but would like to explore again. It's a beautiful country but I haven't seen all of the great places here yet.
