You ran into my brother last weekend in Utah. He was on a K1600, another on the new Wing, another on an older wing and a 4th on a Spyder. He was telling me about seeing a bright red 1100 from Boston. I figured that it had to be you as not many 1100's out west and from Boston this time of the year.

It has been pretty cool running into friends on the road! I reminds me of paulcb finding me in somewhere texas on my first tour. He invited me to my first STOC in Oklahoma, where i met tim, fergie, joe and tom. A very nice memory. I hope these memories keep coming! The world has a funny way! This pic was of me after my kids dog ate my teeth!
Im still wearing the same shell pants and boots. So much of my gear has survived five tours, which is a pleasant surprise

Spent the day in high wind gusts, riding the Illinois corn fields. You all know, the wind, moving a 1100 around the road is real wind! Had plenty of that today. Should b home in four days. No hurry at all!
Im in a motel tonight. Needed a shower pretty bad! They double charged me, so there is hell to raise.
i am totally wind burned too.

What state are you sleeping in tonight?
I believe i am in indiana, 909 mi from home. I spent yesterday watching hundreds of miles of dried corn and farmers harvesting. It felt like i was in the heart of true america. Had lunch in this little town and the waitress ran a “combine” when she wasnt waitressing. Pretty cool!
Its getting pretty cold for biking. Its 33 deg here now, and im in a motel drinking french roast. Boy, does my
Life suck!

Pretending it’s Saturday… what state do you think you’ll sleep in tonight?
I woke up w frost on my red. So, ive also had to stop a few times and warm my gloves up. I discovered i was preassuring myself to get home monday and reaized i really didnt. So, this cold air is slowing me but who cares? Presently, im in ohio and really dont know where im going to land for the night. My air pad sprung a tiny leak which i cant find so it looks like another motel tonight. Ill start looking for a cheepie around 2:00
The foilage here is a gas and everyone has old cars in cherry shape. Really nice!
