i'm a few days late but here you go
i had been thinking about this ride for a couple days. i started out by cleaning up the garage some and digging a snowblower out of the garage, now i need to get it started. 20221126_124415.jpg

once everything was back in the garage i went and got keys for the Mighty St 1300 and started it up to make sure it would. i moved the Mustang out of the way then got the Mighty ST 1300 out of the yard and put the Mustang back in the driveway. it was sunny and 57F but very windy, a cold winter time breeze so i wore my tourmaster metro jacket and gerbing jacket liner along with my tourmaster venture pants, liners in the jacket and pants. to prevent having problems with my foot i wore a wind and waterproof sock on it and just an ankle high footie on my left foot. because it was soo windy and i had no idea what time i would make it home i wore my Alaska Bay fleece lined jeans. i thought it was close to 17:00 when i left home but i'm not too sure because the clock on the ST and the Zumo had different times

leaving home i headed north on Schafer then west on m-14, just west of Outer drive i stopped for $20 in gas. 1/4 mile after crossing us-24 i saluted my dad while passing by the cemetery where he is buried, i always do this. i followed Ann Arbor road into downtown Plymouth 20221126_163246.jpg20221126_163301.jpg20221126_163305.jpg

leaving the Light fest i took Outer Drive over to m-153 and headed west, sure is a lot of traffic out here but for the most part there were no slow downs. made a left on Middle Belt rd, less traffic than on M-153. by the time i got to Ecorse rd it was dark out, i still didn't know what time it was ( it really didn't matter ) in all my flower sniffing i never looked to see what time it was on the phone. i made a left turn on Vining and took it over to Goddard , rode into downtown Romulus but nothing was going on and no Christmas displays to take pic's of. once again i reversed course but at us-12 i headed east. looked like rush hour traffic coming through Westland, Inkster, Dearborn Hts, and Dearborn. traffic didn't look any better in Detroit either. i ended up on Belle Isle cause i wanted a pic of Miss Pepsi in the dark with the lights on her but crossing the bridge i noticed there were no street lights on. once on the Island there were no lights on either, i think someone forgot the electric bill 20221126_191044.jpg20221126_191755.jpg
