Re: MIT-100
I use the MIT-100 two up with full face helmets.
My wife and I enjoy being able to converse easily now, whereas before we used the "tilt the head back and scream as loud as you can" approach.
I can attest to the clarity of the communication at speeds in excess of 75, as my lovely wife said, "huh... 93 eh?" as I passed a cager who was in front of me and slowing my ride down. "Oh you saw that, huh?" was my reply. We both had a good chuckle.
Face shields were both down and windshield was up at the time.
As far as the VOX is concerned, I've had the TREO 750 plugged into the phone jack. Kelly (my wife) was able to hear only my side of a conversation when I answed the phone, and she cannot hear the GPS program (also in the TREO) when it gives me directions. She'll sometime try and talk to me as the GPS is giving me directions, and the MIT does not cut her off.
I've not used the secondary audio jack for anything, so I can't comment on whether or not it will activate or deactivate.
Hope that helps.
