Mich PR3s.....

G'day folks - just pulled the trigger on a set of the new PR3s for the ST1300.

I just talked my local STealership into 5 gorillas for them - ride in ride out!

I'll let y'all know my impressions.

I can compare them the PR2s as I have run them for my last 2 sets.

I was extremely meticulous (read anal) about running the following pressures over the life of my last set:

Front: 42psi cold
Rear: 44 psi cold

I enjoyed the following mileage:

Front: 23,000km
Rear: 17,000km

I could probably squeeze another 1-2000 clicks outta them - but with another LD Ride coming up for 3,500km - need the change them before then. I am booked in Saturday week for the changeover.

90% of that mileage was 1 up and 16% of that was fully loaded for endurance distances.

Anyone want to ad their mileage and brand/bike type for everyone's info?

Dave, it's a "gorilla" $1,000AUS? I remember that one because gorilla starts with g and so does grand, which is US slang for $1,000.
