I have never seen Heli bars on an ST1100 that had the plastic cover. With some modification it might be done but I haven't heard of anyone trying it. There was someone that put out a kit to make the dash look nicer with the Heli bars. I don't know if they are still around. My opinion of the looks with the Heli bars is not good but then the reason to use them is for comfort-not looks. :03biker:

The cover can be made to fit with a flip-chip bar raise; but, the ignition's keyhole will be recessed so you'll have to have a longer key made.

I don't think you can make the cover fit with a Heli-bar and the ignition area would be *really* recessed (lost in the hole!) if you were some how to fit the cover.

If you go with the Heli-bars and think about "dressing the exposed parts up" I would recommend *NOT* polishing any of the exposed parts... some body did and the sun's reflection almost blinded them! :)
