Garlic Tech is finally over, got Todd's $650 wreck all up 'n running. He had already gotten the cosmetics pretty much straightened out so this was a mechanical thrash. He just left about a 1/2 hour ago with a big grin.

Also did some stuff to lipSTick, fresh oil 'n filter, rear end oil, synched the carbs and checked the valves. Forgot to do the clutch fluid while we were in there.

Anyhoo, this was a great event, good food 'n friends. Jeffrey's CX-500 is still in the garage awaiting new carb boots. I can't wait any longer tho, I'm already 3 days overdue at home.

Yes.....GTE #1 2012 is over. My ST is now sitting on my garage instead of John's Man Cave. We worked on the valve ajustment almost all day. Taking the cams off and on a couple of times. I just love learning new things on this bike and from a great teacher George. John, thank you for hosting this great event and I know that the next one will be just a great as this one. With all of the shims I needed to replace. I purchased a shim kit that now will be available to loan out to other riders. I will post it in the loan section. I will need to get a few additional shims to replace what I have already used.
