That's about what I've seen (compared to the USED part I found for $295!! ). Anyway, I checked the front also and not getting any flashes so might not be the sensor(s) at all. Wanna be able to check with a known good part before spending gas 'n tar money I don't need to.

George - Sorry to resurrect an old post... but did this ever get solved?
Seem to have a similar problem and posted a query. Leaving on vacation tomorrow, and would like to resolve this if at all possible.

I received a rear sensor on loan from Big Mac 96, it is still on the bike. Found him another unit and passed it back to him in Minnesota. I also tried the after market "fix" which has worked for some folks but woudln't work for me.

No apologies necessary. I was just glad to find the post with relevant info.
BTW, if you really feel guilty, you should prolly go back and check that each of those 13000 odd posts in god knows how many threads have been closed.
