Bugatti Veyron seems to work fine as an Roman / Germanic combo. Maybe they will build a super bike with two Ducati engines linked together inline ala Veyron!

That's what VW did with the Bugatti Veyron. Two VW V8 engines engineered inline power the Veyron.
