Well, if you don't know
Larry then you haven't
been on the site. Another
fine example of the great folks
here.
Please congratulate him for being the
March 2012 Member Of The Month.
From Larry:
Early this morning I received some surprising news. Joe informed me that I was Member of the Month for March!
If you were sitting across from me at the breakfast table you would have immediately known that I got Happy News as a smile broke out across my face.
What is it about our "little" group that makes us so happy to see one another, hear a kind word from another and anxiously await a reply to one of our posts?
I've ridden many style of bikes and I've been a member of many different groups, but yet I can still recall the first connection I made with my ST friends way back before ST-Owners had even begun. It was that camaraderie that led me back to this new group and eventually back to the ST. We are all from such diverse backgrounds across country and the world. We have different riding styles, different likes and different ideals. Yet with all these differences one thing binds us together. I'd like to say its the bike we ride, but as we know, our bikes change too and yet here we all are.
Friendship and Family! That's what we have here and that's why it does not matter what you ride or if you still ride. We plan vacations around meeting each other. Together we worry about each other, we celebrate each other and we mourn with each other when we loose a member of our family.
So to wake up and realize that your family is giving you a Pat on the Back is such a great feeling. I've truly made life long friends on here and I look forward to making so many more.
I'll leave you with a few of my favorite activities here:
TAG: - Such a silly game and so addicting. I really enjoy trying to find out where you've placed them and then go get it.
RTE: With April around the corner and the largest Ride To Eat about to get under way, how could I leave this out and who else but us, would ride so far just to have lunch with our friends?
Tech Forum: I have been able to learn so much about our bikes through the forum, but its when i have trouble, post a message and get an immediate reply from someone somewhere helping me out of a jam, that the power of our group really comes to light.
General Forum: I have to tune into this forum daily to see how everyone is doing. Even if I don't reply, I'm there...lurking.
Thank you for this honor and I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can. And I want to take this opportunity to Thank our Forum Owner, Joe, All our Mods who painlessly keep us on track when the conversations get heated and to all those that have welcomed Lexie and I into your homes as we travel around the country. The pleasure is all ours.
Ride Safe and see ya at Moonshine!
