Sorry I forgot to get back to you. I've been out of town and booked solid on the weekends. We should do a RTE and discuss. I've seen some flight prices @ $168 to seattle. So far they just haven't gotten out far enough for westoc dates. I'm now starting to look for flights semi daily.

Also, It appears that the bcferries.com site is not what we would be looking for.LINK
seems to be the port angeles ferry. That $400 + number made be wonder too. It looks like about 100 bucks for a car, 40 bucks for an adult, less than 20 for kid, 50ish for motorcycle. I'm just going by memory here but that's the ballpark.

Hey Don, no problem, work and life can sure get in the way of the important task of planning to ride in Canada!
The airfare I mentioned was round trip from LAX to Seattle.
If I remember correctly, the drive to port Angeles is about 125 mile, also, someone mentioned it was about 2-3 hours.
This weekend, I hope to get a tire mounted, maybe we can meet the following weekend.

I won't be available this weekend. I didn't get the tire mounted and my youngest nephew is celebrating his first B/D. Next week, I'll be at Death Valley SToc. We do need to set up plans. I received a email from Tim regarding the ferry services, schedules and prices. I have been checking aor fares and they seem to holding steady. I did notice there are more comments about "only a few seats available".
I'll send you a with my cell munber, maybe we can talk.

Well, I made my reservations on the Coho Ferry out of Pt. Angeles for the Monday sailing @ 12:45. Total damage is $32.50 per bike and rider and they advise arriving 1 hour before sailing. We will be staying with friends Sunday in Olympia, so it will be an easy ride up the Hood Canal Monday morning. Expecting to see a few STs on the sailing, and looking forward to seeing you all there.
