I assume this rear was new when I bought the ST. It now has 16,616 that I have put on it. I ordered a new one last week!

+1 BT 020. I got almost 10k from my first one.That looks like a BT 020.
Not a lot of twisties here! LOL.Not Much cornering on that tire, look at the chicken strips!
I'm left handed but I like right curves more than left so I guess I lean a little further to the right? Hadn't noticed that but I think thats why.Anyone notice that the BT020 in the photo appears to have worn mostly on the right side versus the left?
+1..Keel Brothers just installed my 4th set of BT020's. I'm not an overly aggressive rider and get 12,000 miles per set. I like the fact that F&R wear out together. I really don't have the riding skills to differentiate the nuances of tires, but the BT020's seem to grip well in wet & dry, have a good service life, and are priced right. Since it ain't broke, no reason to fix it. I'm thinking you made the right decision to stick with the Bridgestones.BT020 and I average 10K miles per set. F & R tend to wear out at the same time.
Also looks like the BT023 rear that I have in the garage, except that mine has a lot more tread on it - hasn't been mounted or seen any duty yet. I would think the OP would know what tire was on his ST, since it is stamped on the part of the tire that doesn't see any wear... I will be delighted to see anything even close to that kind of wear on a rear tire. In 36 years of riding, the most I've gotten out of a rear tire was something less than 10k, and the cord was showing then (shame on me)! Of course, the technology has improved a lot since those old bias-ply tires of the past. That looks like a BT 020. They were OEM new. That is a lot of miles. Like Mike I only got 6000 miles out of one.
