The campground is located one mile north of the town Bodega Bay and has 98 sites on 3 loops. The July booking window will open on January 1. Because of the popularity of the Sonoma coast, I urge you to reserve as early as possible. The cost is $35 per night. This campground is unique in that specific sites can not be reserved, your reservation will guarantee that a site will be held and made available for you. I will try and make some sort of arrangement with the park rangers so we aren't scattered. There are showers and flush toilets available. The campsites that I saw on one loop were spacious (by park standards) and not too close to others.
Hotels/motels are available in Bodega Bay and the cost runs from moderately pricey to extremely outrageous. For that reason, book the campground. I've ben told there are some very good restaurants in town, especially for seafood. I will be hosting a pasta feed on Friday evening and a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. If anyone would like to add to that, say a salad and bread with the pasta, or bacon and sauage Saturday, let me know.
Sonoma State Beach features coastland with beaches, reefs, coves, tidepools, headlands, and natural arches. With more than ten miles of shore, 5,000 acres, this state beach is one of the largest in the state. The park stretches from Bodega Head to the Russian River. There are some great riding roads in the area and I'm sure we can get some of the local ST owners to lead us.

I'm planning to be there but it's kinda far out for my schedule.
