I scored a new set of Pilot Power 2's off local craigslist for very cheap.

I'm hoping to put them on my ST11.

Is there any concern with these tires being too small, or too "sporty" for a big bike like the ST11?

thnx!

(planned usage = 3-4000 miles in <1 wk across SW US.)

What size are they? My book does not show the Pilot Power in the correct size for the 1100. It does appear to be a sporty tire so likely won't last too long. Let us know how they work out.

Let me check tonight and report back.
I know they are both 17's... didn't think to check past that...

Maybe i'm confused and they're Road Pilots... humm.... ok, now I'm nervous.

Check back in morning!

It sounds like you may have Pilot Road tires. The consensus on this site is that they are excellent tires. I have one on a 1300 rear end and it has been great. Pilot Roads do come in the correct size for the front of the 1100 but not the rear. Some have used the 160/60-17 rear but the bike stands more upright on the side stand. The ST uses an 18 inch front tire so hopefully the front tire you have is an 18.
