Larry is the "HIGH Priest" of the ST !
Not too long ago I gave myself a well used ST-1300 with 45000+ Miles on it for my 60th, under the motto: " Only living once "
When I became a member here at the forum, he was the first one to welcome me, asking me if I had any questions and if so, not to hesitate. As luck has it, he lives (according to google) just 6 minutes away but you know on an ST minutes are actually seconds !So a few days later I met up with Larry. How do you spell "OCD" ?… His garage is spotless!! I knew then already that I had found my guy ! NO "slop" working on my bike !
With a big smile he greeted me and directed me into his Holy of Hollies.
Got a chair out for me and started working his Magic, explaining his every move ! Not that I used his chair though as we were sitting both next to the bike on his clean floor enjoying the common theme: " Wrenching on the the ST". I felt so comfortable knowing I was in good hands.
Before I thought I had a nice bike… Now, after several evenings, now, that he is done his magic so carefully, now, I know I have a Really Fine Bike. What a difference Larry made !!
It shifts now, how it should.. it stops now how the bike was meant to stop, it idles now as an ST and rides so smooth ! Its like a NEW bike !
