"C"is for Clearwater

Small town, short trip, small bike.

My wife informed me that I was on my own for lunch, and the CL350 hadn't been out of the garage for a while. Around forty miles, round trip, to Clearwater for a photo and lunch at the golf course. A clubhouse sandwich, onion rings (that counts as a vegetable, right?,) and a slice of apple raisin walnut pie.

"E" is for El Dorado

Eastborough was a little closer to Wichita, but in El Dorado I was able to stop at Charlie C's and have some of Susie's chili and a Frisco melt. (Some of you may remember the food at Susie's Chili Parlor - Susie has a new, and quite a bit smaller, place.) It was a bit chilly yesterday, but after the aforementioned bowl of chili I was up for continuing on toward Newton to the Breadbasket. A couple of pieces of pie loaded into the saddlebags and it was back home.
