I don't even like being in the cage at 100 degrees. Let alone on the bike.

I'm like a museum piece in summer. I move from one 60 degree environment to another.

My temp gauge doesn't seem to get past 84 anymore, maybe I'll throw in a new sending unit. :)

I didn't document it either, but I hit 115f in Needles, CA at 3pm in early July this year. I don't think I ever need to do that again!! The cashier at one of the stations where we stopped for water said, "you guys must be pretty tough, cause most all the bikers come through here early in the morning." Yes, tough or stupid!!

Yeah Tim you are smarter then me. I ride in the heat and I stare at the sun both coming and going. At least for you it's just beating on your back.

I've seen the dreaded "---" going through Baker, on the way to WeSTOC in Golden the first time. I seem to recall the "Bun Boy" thermometer indicated 125F. But I was stopping to recharge my cooling vest (I got chilled getting back on the highway!) and refilling the camelbak.

The only reason I went through that time of day was to try out the gear - figuring if I could handle that I could handle any heat in the southwest - except maybe Death Valley in the peak of summer. You just can't travel around here in the summer unless you're willing to brave 110+ on occasion - not so much for fun but just to get there. I wouldn't try those temps back east if the humidity was high.

And last time I rode through Needles in daylight it got to 119 indicated, and I was stupid and didn't stop to top off my camelbak with ice-water. I ran out halfway to Kingman. You don't realize how much it helps to sip cold water until you run out!

What! That's an injustice similar to the old speedos from 1980-1982 that would only go up to 85mph. I see a farkle opportunity here.
It does that same thing at the other end of the scale as well LOL.
104? humid parked in traffic and enjoying the breeze from the radiator fans here.
Plenty hot enough for me.

Here in WA STate, on Sunday, riding in E. WA. I saw 102 degrees at 70+ mph on I-90 near Vantage. It's been hotter than that before too....

And we are all the way up here next to Canada.........cold white north!

That's hot Todd. My grandson and I rode over to Motorcycle Gear dot com yesterday in Shallowater Tx. We had a cool ride with 73 degrees at one point. Of course that point was midway thru a downburst from a monster cell 5 miles away.

It was 98 at the store and that's the highest I've seen this summer so you still have me beat for the summer. Of course we have the dry heat around here.....

I hit 105 in OK on the way back from NatSTOC a week ago. I'm sure we'll top that.

Earlier this month we saw 44?C (111?F) in the Mojave Desert, it really wasn't as bad as mid nineties with really high humidity last summer riding from Vermont to Pennsylvania.

The day I bought my bike, I rode it from Boerne, TX back to the North Dallas area on a hot Saturday afternoon. I think the high was about 105? with a fair amount of humidity and LOTS of sun. Had several stops and drank lots of water. That was a long, hot trip, but well worth it! ;)

Most recently July 12, 108 in the Scenic Byways post for Gila Pinal Scenic Road - Hwy 60. Got down to a bone chilling 93 :hat3:at Top of the World. Sorry don't think any of the pics in that post showed the dash clearly.
Personal hottest was 118 from LA to Phx in June. Had to stop to fill the canteen more than the gas tank.:eek:4:
