I think I have diagnosed a defective speed sensor based on a thread I found here and information I found in my service manual. The part has arrived and I hope to make the repair tomorrow. Anyone out there performed this work? I'll replace the o-ring when I switch out the part. Since the part is installed in the rear crankcase, can I expect some oil when I pull the part? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
