WELL...Rear T-30 GT has cord showing at 4k miles. Wore into a square in cross section like a dual tread might. THIS tire is off my list. Shinko Raven going on today.

I just pulled the rear T-30 off my 06 at 6603 miles, below the wear bars, that is constant with all the sets of BT020 and BT023's I have run, which has been quite a few probably around 11/12 pairs, always around 6000 or less.
I keep detailed notes on all the tires I run, such as tread depth when new, etc. No question about it, the T-30 GT was the hardest tire I've mounted it 40 years, I take my time, warm/almost hot tire, tons of lube, what a real pia, and I use a No-Mar changer.
PR 3 on rear now.:D

I keep good records too. I wish a Michelin could give me 10k miles to offset its high price. I get 6k miles out of an $86 rear shinko.
That T30 was the hardest tire to mount, Shinko is easy.

Hi all. Got 7500 out of T-30s rear. Front still good. Very good tire. 7500 is a bit low in my mind...but handling is excellent on twisties!

I've got 11,500 miles on my BT023's and I'm about a 1/16 above the wear bars. Might hit 14,000 miles on this set. Was thinking about moving on over to the T-30 GT's but the mileage doesn't sound that great. Damn, now which tire do I choose. I pull a trailer, so I'm a bit Leary on experimenting.

Glad I stumbled onto this thread before I ordered, I was thinking of mounting a front T-30 instead of replacing the BT45 that has a little over 15K but is badly cupped. Just mounted a new Handkook about 10k ago and was thinking of going back to motorcycle tires for a while because I'm not cranking out 40k riding seasons as of late.

You might look at the Bridgestone tire made for the BMW Goldwing looking tourer (something LT). BT020? It is a Bias tire. Very stiff side walls and good mileage. It is not the best in the rain. I bought a 160/70 for my 1100. Don't know if it comes 170/60 for the 1300.

Coming up on 2500 miles on the T-30's and hardly any wear and most of it was pulling my Lees-ure Lite camping trailer. Best thing was the $40 Visa card that brought the price of the tires down. Well guess what, I just got another $40 Visa card from Bridgestone in the mail yesterday and when I activated it, it was good to go. Keep 'em coming Bridgestone and b/4 you know it, tires will have been free. But don't see another one coming soon.

Wow! I'm not impressed with the mileage you guys got from the BT020-F's. I'm on my 6th set, replace F & R at same time, and the other 5 sets lasted as follows:
OEM set ... 12,675 miles
2nd set ... 8,857 miles
3rd set ... 10,227 miles
4th set ... 9,857 miles
5th set ... 8,647 (still have this set in the attic & should be good for another 1,000 miles)
