I mounted PR3s front \ rear on the CBR ... no marks, but had to balance them anyway. ..I just received new tires but I don't see any dots showing the heavy spots. Can anyone help me on this question? thanks kevin
Hmm. That's not good news! I only got 7,900 miles on my last PR3 rear. Granted many of those miles were on Hwy 36 and in the Fortuna area. We were doing a WeSTOC XIX recon run checking out the rides/roads in the area. The side treads were worn to the bottom of the threads on one side of the blocks. The center of the tires still looked OK.Well I have gone through a rear PR4 GT. I have to say its a love hate at this point. I love the way they are in the rain and dry, but I am not happy with the mileage. I have only 7K on the rear and its all but done. I normally got 10 to 12K from a PR3 and as much as 14 on 1 set. At this point I am putting a PR3 on next.

What are you doing to your tires? I have 7K on the rear pr4gt and it still looks good. I expect to get 12K out of it.
